Nanosonics come in three versions; R, HP and SC. They specialize in different types of conditions. The widths and flex profiles change. While they all ski quite well in all conditions their are benefits in having skis for specific conditions.
Nanosonic Carbon Skate R Ski
Built for speed and performance on the World Cup, the Nanosonic Carbon Skate R features our new skate geometry for optimal power transfer and minimum swingweight. The Skate R is designed for universal use with a high, flexible camber line and medium pressure areas, and it provides excellent directional stability with an easy edge-to-edge performance.
This ski is great for those who have struggle concerning or on technical parts of the course. I is also a fast flex profile in cold snow.
Nanosonic Carbon Skate HP Ski

Its lower camber line offers a hard flex at the end of your stride, optimized for short pressure areas, and the new skate geometry provides clean power transfer with minimal swingweight.
This ski is a works great in a wide rage of conditions on soft or hard trails. If you need a good ski for a wide range of conditions that will work well in Typical Anchorage or Fairbanks conditions.
